Welcome Fr. Arthur
Dear community at OLPH,
I am so happy and excited to be here with you and for you in our parish to walk together in this journey to love Jesus and Mary. This my first time being a parish administrator so please bear with me and help me make the path in our community. Let me introduce to you, my name is Fr. Arthur Torres Barona, originally from Cali, Colombia. I’m the youngest of four (all boys by the way) from a very devoted parents who taught me and my brothers how to love and fear the Lord. Slowly you will know more about my vocation, all my life journey and myself.
I’m very sure it has been difficult for some of you to see Fr. Jim leaving but certainly this is the way in diocesan and religious life. One day we are here and the next we find ourselves in another place. I thank Fr. Jim for all he did here with you all. Now, comes the time also for me to keep strengthening you in your faith and love of God and Jesus. Let’s do it together and let’s worship together, let’s bring Jesus in together.
From OLPH, I send to each one of you my blessing and my prayers. May our Lord Jesus and our Mother Mary protect you all. Do please be safe and stay healthy.
In Domina Nostra Auxilium Perpetuum
Fr. Arthur Torres Barona
