Carlin Named New OLPH school Principal
June 24, 2020
Dear OLPH Parish family,
Thank you for your support of our parish school. While we are in challenging times, I know we all share the same desire for our school to be
the best it can be. I believe that each of us has chosen to be a part of OLPH because we can see the eternal difference a Catholic school
education can make in the lives of our children. Keeping the educational and economic needs of our school in mind for now and into the future, Mr.Paul Jette has determined to step down as principal. I deeply appreciate his integrity and love for our school. Paul has been a wonderful principal
and we will miss him.
Therefore, I have reluctantly accepted Paul's resignation following consultation with our Superintendent, Dr. Sedonna Prater, and with Paul
himself. I am deeply grateful for his vision and passion for education that he brought to us and will work to see that those continue. Paul has
generously agreed to help facilitate the transition in leadership. I know you join me in gratitude for his service and leadership.
Ms. Caroline Carlin who is currently the Academic Dean, a member of the leadership team at OLPH, and an essential person in the oversight of our instructional programs, as well as, the at-home learning programs during the pandemic has accepted the position as principal. Her work has been outstanding and is the natural successor to lead the school. She brings a passion for education, love for our students, and leadership skills that we have already benefited from at OLPH School. Dr. Sedonna Prater, Paul and myself, are confident in Ms. Carlin’s abilities.
Let us work together through these times to a hope-filled future. Thank you for welcoming Caroline Carlin to her new role at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School.
Sincerely in Christ,
